One is Thomas, since she's possibly the least experienced in gold medal winning international competitions on the team. Another is Chelsea Gray, who only just returned to the court after a serious injury last fall. And I myself would've dropped Griner because of the whole criminal charge thing, but that's probably *why* they picked her for the team, lol.

I don't see what is wrong with DT's comment. And DT said wonderful things about her post game and didn't cheap shot her or play rough or anything out of the ordinary in the game. The story really is Copper kind of forced CC into some early errors but then maybe by guarding CC so close, couldn't do anything offensively and only scored 7. Or maybe she just had a bad game. I don't know. Griner and DT were fine in the game. Too much roughness in the game. It wasn't a playoff game. Griner should have had a T against Boston. CC shot poorly but after the early jitters, did her thing in passing and rebounding and added 2 logo 3s in there as a sweetener. Fever got a well-deserved W and the rematch is coming up soon.
